Take Action. Save Loring.
We have an opportunity to make our voices heard. The vote is scheduled for November 10th, 2026. The survey for public feedback closes on October 16th.
This is what you can do.
Do All Four Steps before October 16th
-
Link to survey: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/participate/226363058
What to include in your feedback:
Say “Loring” by name - even if the survey is asking about the strict rather than the school itself.
Ask for an option that keeps Loring open.
Demand real financial transparency: Ask the district to release the exact per-school cost projections that Director Callahan requested—especially now that leadership admits closures won't yield major cost savings.
-
Share in an email how your child and family would be affected if Loring closes. Ask for a fourth option that includes Loring staying open.
